We had a nice 4th of July weekend, and Ryan even took the day off from working in the basement, so it made for a good day. Our cute neighbors invited us over the night before to do some fireworks in the street, and Millie's face was classic the whole time - she absolutely loved them and couldn't stop saying "ooohhhh". It was pretty cute. Last year at this time Ryan was busy studying for the Bar Exam, so I don't think Millie even saw any fireworks. So this was probably her first official viewing and it was a success.
Our neighbor Annie made the kids these cute glow necklaces and bracelets, and now Millie seriously wears hers EVERY day. It kinda makes me laugh cause she's not a very girlie girl (my fault), but she has loved these! Don't laugh if it's October and she is still wearing them.

I am laughing how you said that you were proud of Ryan for taking a day off from working on the basement...where did we both get husbands that know how to work and always work hard??!!
