So I've been getting dropped hints that our blog is a little behind in postings, so I figured I'd throw down my first entry. I'm not very good at this whole website thing, I've let Ryan do all the postings thus far; however, his life is crazy busy right now with finals, and I think I speak for both of us when I say I hate them! I feel like I haven't seen my husband for a couple weeks now, and he still has one more to go on Friday, so this week is pretty much shot as well. But on the bright side, it means that we are almost down to 1 semester left before graduation, which I can't believe!
Last night we went to my work Christmas party for Pulte Homes, and it was at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay. At first I didn't really want to go since I'm huge these days and getting dressed up isn't much fun; but then I heard there would be a raffle with some sweet prizes. Of course we didn't win anything (we are not as lucky as Jon and Jess!), but we did get to watch some crazy drunk people on the dance floor, I ate my heart out at the dessert chocolate fountain table, and 1 guy even spewed up at the bar....luckily we didn't see that happen! Anyway, it was an entertaining night nonetheless. They even had a professional photographer setup to take couples pictures, so we had that done - sorry, I won't be posting that beauty 'cause I am so not photogenic!
Last but not least, this past week we finally got some of our baby furniture - yeah!! We had the crib and chair delivered, and we are now just waiting on the dresser. It is starting to seem a bit real now that those are in place. I find myself going into her room and just staring at everything, and getting very excited! As much as I'm sick of being pregnant, I don't think I'm quite ready yet. I still need these next few weeks to get some stuff done. Then she can come a little early, hopefully!
Well that's all for now. We'll see if I get better at adding my 2 cents every now and then! Maybe next time I'll have figured out how to add a picture or something so you don't just have to listen to me!

HOly cow Leslie!! I just barely looked at Lindsays blog for the first time and I couldn't believe how big Nate has gotten. I've never seen the little cutie! and lastly I asked her how you were doing and if you were getting baby hungry! Have I been gone that long?! You are totall pregnant- with a GIRL!! I love it! You are gonna be the cutest lil' mom with a daughter! Girls are SOOOO much fun! Anyway, I haven't seen most of you out there since March! I miss you all so much and was excited to upsize, but sad I didn't get to know you and Lindsay more. Great to see you on here!

Okay where are your pictures? I want to see Millie's room bad, and I want to see the pic of you and Ryan at the party! You know how I am, now get those posted!! I am dying to see it all! Thanks for the update - we can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!
