Tyler: He is my little giggle monster! His absolute favorite time of the day is when I'm stripping
him down for his bath at night. The kid goes crazy, apparently he likes having no clothes on. He finally figured out how to swallow, so he is liking his baby food - except for green beans! He could watch his big sis for hours and be completely entertained. She'll be running around the room, and his little head just turns however he can to see her. He also is a fan of the TV...apparently it's on A LOT at our house, not gonna lie. I honestly just can't get enough of this little guy! It always makes you feel good when someone is happy to see you, and this little guy is always smiling at me!
Millie: My baby girl is about to turn 2 and that's just crazy to me. While it has gone fast, it's
funny to think she is only 2 because it feels like she's been around forever. This girl has some spunk in her, and I'm blaming it on the red hair (which didn't come from me, so Ryan it's your fault she's the way she is!) The other night she just wouldn't go to sleep, she kept getting out of bed and doing the most random things. Finally I went in there for like the 4th time and was about to get really mad at her, when I opened the door and found she had taken her jammies off and was playing with the door stop. I stopped dead in my tracks, mid sentence, and just busted up laughing! She most definitely keeps me on my toes. The girl also has an incredible memory. Once when we went into one of the stores at the mall, the worker gave her a sucker. A week later we went back into that store, and we walk in and the first thing she says is "mommy, where's the sucker?" It took me a minute to realize why she would be saying that, and then I remembered. Also, one of the only shapes she knows is an octagon! What kid learns to identify an octagon before a square?! The other day she saw a picture of a stop sign, and she said "mommy, octagon". Again, she keeps me laughing! And crying for that matter. I am being tested daily in a way that I have never been tested before, and patience just might be my worst attribute. I think she's my daughter for a reason! One more thing - she is trying to figure out where all of the snowmen, santas, and reindeer have gone now that Christmas is over!
Ryan: Not much to report here. He's busy with work and really enjoys what he's doing! He is such a good dad, and I can already tell how much Tyler likes him. He sometimes whimpers when his daddy walks away from him - too cute!
Me: I swear some days I hang on only by a thread, and I'm not totally sure why. I'll tell ya what though, going to work is a walk in the park compared to staying home and trying to raise 2 kids and all that goes along with it! To keep myself sane, my sister and I are starting a new business. I won't go into detail about it now, but stay tuned! Hopefully this turns out to be something great for me so that I have something I can call my own.
Hope you all had a great holiday season. Christmas eve/day were super busy, but always tons of fun. You can't go wrong when you get to spend time with loved ones! Our kids were spoiled, and so were Ryan and I. And here's to a great 2010! My new year's resolution is a tough one for me - no soda! I already know I won't be able to do that, but I am going to cut back significantly. I told my sister-in-law that I'm just going to become a "social drinker" - he he. So far I haven't bought a single drink though and I'm already halfway into the month!

No soda, crazy lady!
Thanks for the update. That first picture of Tyler looks like a miniature Ryan, for sure.
Welcome to the 2's, my friend. :)
I am so happy to see some pictures of your kids. They are so adorable. I know how you feel when you say you are hanging on by a thread. Just remember that the days are long, but the years are short. I can't believe I have a 12 year old (remember that day RyRy?)Try and enjoy them when they are little, because 12 year olds are no picnic!!
Sorry this is really Rebecca. I was working on re-designing Sara's blog and apparently I am signed in as her! hee hee!
Thanks for the updates! Also very cute pics! I LOVE that new pic of Millie on your side of the blog.
What amazing little kids you have! We really need to let Millie and Sloane have a play date. Life just needs to slow down so we can plan it!
Your kids are SO ADORABLE! I can't believe Millie is almost 2 (seems like I just held her as a newborn) and isn't it crazy that Ty and Lila are already 5 months? Where did that go? You look great and it is so great to hear how things are going!
What a cute little family. Ty is getting big and is quite the doll. Good job, little Sis!
Awww Les, they are so cute! Millie really looks like you. I can't believe she and Blake are almost 2. It is unreal to me. Hugs!
What cute pictures! I would love to have Millie over anytime you need a little break. I promise I will make Connor be nice - or I will at least try my best. :o) I am so glad you guys moved so close. You are a great friend!
It sounds like you guys are doing great! I love the pic of your family! So cute!! Wish you lived closer so our girls could play!
