This morning while I was getting some cereal and Ryan was getting ready for work, Millie rolled over for the first time - yeah! But the funny thing is neither Ryan or I saw it happen, go figure! He had been playing with her on the ground and came over to me and said she is so close to rolling over. When he went back to look at her, there she was on her tummy. Until today she had no desire to roll, in fact she would fight you on it when you would try to help her. Silly baby!
We also just started feeding her the rice cereal, and so far it hasn't been too successful. She's kind of been in a bad mood when we've tried, so I don't think that helped. I think she got more on her face than she ever did in her mouth. Sorry Mil, I'm a rookie mom.
At her 4 month check-up last week she weighed 13.6 lbs and was 26 inches long. She is at a fun stage (most of the time) and it's fun to see her grow and develop.

DONT YA LOVE THOSE FIRSTS!! Oh, I miss those fun times! I love the big time mile stones, they are sooooo much fun to look forward to! How are you?! Milies face is to die for! she is so gorgeous and adorable! She looks so much like both of you, but she tends to side with ryans looks a little more. She is such a cutie, I love her big eyes!! Come get your haircut so I can see your baby!
i love it when babies start solids so much fun to see them eat and get messy. Hows Utah? Man, I wish we lived there. Any plans to come and visit good ole Vegas?
The phone I'm getting is the Blackberry Pearl from sprint but I think at&t has it also. I'm getting the red one. What phone are you getting?
Aw - CUTE! She looks so tiny in her bumbo chair - I can't believe it!
how fun! its a ton of fun to see the lil ones growing up. The problem is as soon as they can speak and walk they think they are the grown up!! gotta love it though. so anyway you need to email me so we can plan something for getting together...jrellac@hotmail.com
I love the pictures of Millers on her tummy! Those facial expressions are the best. She'll start hitting new milestones all of the time, now! She'll get the hang of eating cereal . . it just takes a few tries. Glad she's doing well. I can't believe I don't get to see her until AUGUST!
shes adorabe! man i need a little girl. We missed you at bunco!
Cute! Blake is getting so close to rolling over too and I am pretty sure I'll be in the other room when it happens. Millie is sure a cutie ... you guys are going to be at the reunion, right?
Blake had his 4 month appointment today and was 17 pounds 3 oz and almost 26 inches. So Millie is long and skinny and Blake is long and pudgy!
I love when they start doing all of these fun first's - just wait your life is about to change again, no more leaving her on the bed while you shower or run out of the room - next thing you know she will be sitting and then crawling- it is crazy how fast it goes. she is such a cute baby!
I love Mil's face while she's on her tummy! She's so proud of herself!
She has such a great smile!! I hate baby food. It's just so messy. But as soon as she figures it out it's not so bad. Good luck! I think I'm gonna start Dani on bananas tomorrow.
I am so proud of her. I'll bet she couldn't roll over any sooner because she had that huge binky in her mouth anchoring her head down.
man what a cutie!
She is an all-star! And oh-so-cute. Good job Millie! And good job Ryan and Leslie for grade-A parenting!
26 inches sounds like she is tall. She is adorable. Sounds like you've taken to motherhood like fish to water. My new last day is August 22. Miss having you around. Thank goodness for blogs.
I love the pearl. it's way confusing but it has so many feature that i need like navigation i get lost everywhere. mike knows how to work it better than me, but it's really fun to mess around with
What a cute little doll. Keep trying the cereal she'll get the hang of it. When we first started giving it to Mckenna she kept gagging on it. It takes a little while, but now that is Mckenna's favorite food. Go figure.
